Britain emits 350 million tons of CO2 a year. In 2022, Chinese emissions increased by 540 million tons, to 12.4 billion. That means that China's annual increase alone is more than Britain's total emissions by far.

Thank you to Air Officer Scotland for inviting me to the Edinburgh Tattoo in my capacity as Commandant General RAF Regiment. A fantastic experience & my first official function following the announcement that His Majesty has adopted the role of the Corps’ Air Commodore-in-Chief.

When British Defence Staff in the US learnt their American friend Kevin Billings was awarded an OBE in the King’s New Year's Honours list, they were thrilled. The appointment recognises many years strengthening relations between our two 🇬🇧-🇺🇸 Air Forces & is truly well deserved.

Kevin is an honourary Royal Air Force Group Captain and one of three 🇺🇸 American members of the 601 (County of London) Squadron. He was also pivotal in establishing the Billy Fiske Foundation – a charity borne out of UK-US military friendship.

Today, at the Battle of Britain service at Westminster Abbey, we remembered the historic battle and the 1,497 RAF & allied aircrew who gave their lives for our freedom. We will remember them. ow.ly/OIIT50TnM7H

Yesterday, RAF personnel attended the annual service at the Runnymede Air Forces Memorial, honouring the sacrifice of Commonwealth Air Forces in WWII. In today’s uncertain world, remembering those who served reminds us why their legacy still matters.
