This week, we're taking part in #SaferCommunitiesAwarenessWeek. All of our services work with people to prevent crime and reoffending. From Dyfodol Cymru and Gwent Drug & Alcohol Service where we aim to break the cycle of substance use to our new MHTR service, where we tackle poor mental health.

Thank you for visiting Jane Mudd, Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner GwentPCC - we were pleased to show you around and talk about our work supporting people through our Gwent Drug & Alcohol Service involved with the Criminal Justice System.
Our Home Office funded, Project ADDER Rapid Access Prescribing Service (RAPS) has become the first organisation in Wales to achieve micro elimination for Hep C; with our Dyfodol Cymru service coming in second.
Last week, our Dyfodol Cymru services across Western Bay came together for some light-hearted fun at Ashland's Sports Centre. The day included Rounders, giant Jenga and Connect4, and more. But, we're not quite sure what the team are doing in this picture!
This week, our team joined an event held at HMP Eastwood Park supporting women in prison ahead of their release back into Welsh communities. The team gave out helpful information, wellbeing journals and small treats whilst talking about support we can offer them.

Last week, our Dyfodol Cymru Swansea art & crafts group embraced a spooktacular #Halloween theme 👻, bringing lots of conversation, colours and creativity. Groups like this remain so important to the people we support. It builds vital connection and confidence. #arttherapy

Thank you Tân CGC / MAWW Fire for hosting us at your #TargetingPrevention event yesterday. It was so valuable to hear from a diverse range of agencies, all working with vision and energy to make our communities safer. Good to see South Wales Police, SwanseaCVS and some other fab orgs there.
We are thrilled for our Dyfodol Cymru Police Custody Team; winners in the Safer Communities Offending & Justice Category. The team provide an exemplar service, 7-days a week, with out-of-hours and on-call support, meeting people detained at police stations across South Wales.
We were thrilled to welcome people from & around the #Maesteg community to our Health & Wellbeing Centre last Friday. The fab Adferiad band welcomed our guests to the event, which raised £495 for a local charity, gifts for Invisible Walls and £££s worth of food for Bridgend Foodbank.
