A double National Trust day while my daughter was playing in a football tournament. I had an interesting day and a very warm welcome from knowledgeable volunteers NT Moseley Old Hall and Wightwick Manor and Gardens NT.
A busy trip to Newark Park yarn bombing ready for Easter, lunch with Percy the peacock and a walk in the woods where I spotted a nuthatch.

We have Novak Cutter for #WorldBookDay2024 from Battle of the Beetles by M. G. Leonard. The costume was made entirely by my daughter using her many skills of sewing, crochet, decopatch and some pipe cleaner craft. She used old clothes which were worn out or too small.
Really enjoyed visiting Avalon Marshes today especially the archaeology centre. It was good to warm up by the ๐ฅ.
