Teacher's are overwhelmed and need assistance in management of such high numbers of learners. We urge the Dep. Basic Education to ask schools to introduce physical exercise classes for those who are not attending classes. Adding PE classes to the current rotation system will alleviate stress.
Fundamental Developments Dep. Basic Education 100% - not only do learners learn better when they have been doing physical activity, but for many learners it is a preferred learning style. Kids were designed to move. And exercise is an outlet for emotions, endorphins and needed for general health. The Dep. Basic Education must listen!
Fundamental Developments Dep. Basic Education It's an amazing opportunity to expand and include Cross-Curricular learning. Either as an end to a class unit, to extend the class unit or even to introduce a class unit! Physical Education needs to be given more focus and must be prioritized in schools! Wynberg Girls' Junior School has achieved this!
