#DYK - #GiantHogweed only flowers after it is mature (2-3 yrs old) & only when it has sufficient energy reserves. It may just exist as a rosette of leaves for 3-5 years before flowering. After flowering it releases 30-50,000 seeds and then dies. #InvasiveSpecies #InvasivePlants
