Paul (thecarvedtree) putting the finishing touches to the latest carved bench in Craneford Fields overlooking the river restoration site. In memory of our Trustee Mike, a great birder who identified the lesser spotted and greater spotted woodpecker along this part of the river

More bench news! We received reports of the kingfisher bench being overturned earlier this week. The council parks dept and their contractors were quickly on the case and had fitted new fixings and mended the bench within 24 hours – thanks to all who reported and fixed it

Kneller Gardens is getting a new ‘dog-dip’ beach! It will be similar to the existing 'dog dip' in Richmond Park and provides a dedicated space for dogs to enter the river safely and without causing harm. Work begins the w/c 28th Oct and is expected to take a week to complete.

One of our tasks on yesterday's volunteer day was to clear out the back channel at Mill Road - including these woody debris along with fence posts and a child's go-cart!
