We are beginning the publishing stage of our learning journey. Our writing outcome is a piece of non-fiction detailing the elephant and the fight against poaching. We will then record what we’ve written as a BBC documentary. FoxfieldPrimary Foxfield English The Inspire Partnership Oak Class
In History we looked at various artefacts from the Stone Age. We wrote down what we thought they were, what they’re made from & their purpose. A great example of how weekly spelling practises through games and recall & retention activities improve the children's test results. The use of colour coordination allows the child to compete against themselves rather than others & celebrate progress. FoxfieldPrimary Foxfield English
In history we learnt about the importance of monuments highlighting a significant event from the past. We linked our knowledge to Stonehenge and it’s historic importance of the Stone Age. We then created our own Stone Age inspired monuments. FoxfieldPrimary Foxfield Humanities Oak Class
We are proud to share our learning for this half term linked to our core text of ‘The Hunter’ by #PaulGeraghty. Our writing was a non-chronological report on elephants & the danger of poaching and our art was ink printing using natural dyes. FoxfieldPrimary The Inspire Partnership Rob Carpenter

We welcomed our 60-strong Pupil Leadership Team today and introduced them to the expectations of being a JLT member & the outline of the year. We discussed positive relationships across the school and what these look like & the children already had great feedback! FoxfieldPrimary

This morning, years 3 & 4 performed our winter concert to parents & carers. We shared how Christmas is celebrated around the world along with the story of Christmas. We loved watching the pantomime of Cinderella this morning, especially getting involved in dancing and playing with the parachute! FoxfieldPrimary
