Huge thanks to Mairéad Cleary, Daire and the team Virgin Media ❤️ for such a succinct, honest and comprehensive documentary on a very complicated and well hidden crisis. Our children deserve so much better from our government play.virginmediatelevision.ie/watch/replay/1…

When it comes to data collection, why is no one talking to the schools directly. Why can't schools give their SEN data to the Dept or NCSE? Why is there no mechanism for this? POD could be easily and immediately used if this were facilitated by the Dept. play.virginmediatelevision.ie/watch/replay/1…

NPF's Alan Kelly will feature on tonight's show, highlighting the issues we principals wish to raise in relation to the systemic inadequacy of supports for our pupils with additional needs.

Chronic underfunding of schools was a key issue we raised with Oireachtas Members in Leinster House last June. Sadly, this could become the reality for many more schools if nothing changes.

This is my grandmother Margaret. She has been a school secretary for 28 years. She will retire without an occupational pension. This is wrong - Pension Parity should be given to all! The Minister must act to avoid strike! Helen McEntee TD Department of Education and Youth The Labour Party Ireland Fórsa trade union
