Did you know Kwale County Government elevated Kwale town to a Municipality on February 2018 with provisions from the Urban Areas and Cities Act of 2011? This was made possible by Kwale County Governor, H.E @governor_salim_mvurya signing the the Kwale Municipal Charter.

Kwale Municipality held its first quarterly Citizen forum held at kwale centre hall on 18th November 2020. We were able to engage productively with the public and different stakeholders🙏Asanteni kwa kuja. Stay tuned for the next forum🦾😃😊

First Kwale Municipality Infrastructure Investment was paving Kwale Posta - Methodist Road with concrete blocks financed by the World Bank's Urban Development Grant aimed at improving the status of urban areas across the nation.🙏more projects will be coming soon Inshallah😊

On 21st January Kwale Municipality led by the Kwale Municipal board chairman Mr. Seif Bendera H.S.C hosted a team from the State Department of Housing and Urban Development to assess the Municipality's infrastructure investments projects of FYs year 2018-19/2019-2020 under KUSP.

On the 25th of January H.E @governor_mvurya officially launched Kwale Municipality's Project of the construction of Kwale Posta - Masjid Muadh Road and issued 100 bucks to farmers.🙏 Kwale County has continued to support its Municipality🙌🤲God's blessings #tuchapekazi2021 💪💪

Kwale Municipality held its quarterly citizen forum at Kwale Culture Centre hall on 11-02-2021 where the Municipal board and County CS managed to positively engage the public in agendas regarding the Board's achievements, project proposals and security matters in our nation.

Updates of the Posta-Muadh road: The PMC Committee and Contractor underwent a training on H.I.V/A.I.D.S yesterday for them to efficiently spread the disease's awareness in the community. A site meeting was also held to approve the progress of works and health and safety measures.
