It still surprises how many parents don’t want to hear how a virus, infection, Lyme, Bartonella can trigger 🧠 inflammation. They assume it will never happen to them. When you or your family have been affected it can be v isolating. I still believe that awareness is crucial.

Estelle sean stidston 🇵🇸 tern No - her B12 levels were high so the NHS medics didn’t suspect B12 deficiency. She had lots of symptoms though. Sadly she was misdiagnosed with FND. It was homocysteine & MMA tests that showed the B12 deficiency. The Vit B12 Society (parents) FB - is the best place for advice

Not calling for the abolishment of the #FND diagnosis, instead I am calling for more transparency and honesty around its subjective nature, else we risk closing diagnostic doors prematurely
