This is the reality for many of the #youngadults and their families who attend the YA service I’m part of. Imagine falling asleep every night worrying about the sudden death of your child, wondering if they would be awake in the morning… it’s inconceivable.
Great to see some new faces amongst the attendees: #transition is on people’s minds and they are eager to learn and share. It’s an exciting time to be part of the #youngadult with complex needs #palliativecare The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice Children's Hospices Across Scotland St Oswald's Hospice
The new term of Project ECHO Young Adults: Transition and Beyond started today with JoElversonSOH presenting in “Small beginnings starting a YA service”. It was wonderful to hear her experience and discuss the importance of networking and sustainability.
Some positive one word feedback from Inspiring Leadership Programme Day 3. We're all looking forward to Day 4 on Thursday, including exploring influencing skills. #PalliativeCare
It's #FundraisingFriday and we'd love to give a huge hospice thanks to Karly McLeod. Karly is walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for #GlasgowsHospice
You can still take part in the Kiltwalks in Edinburgh, Aberdeen or Dundee 👉 loom.ly/1kW2W0Q
