This is the reality for many of the #youngadults and their families who attend the YA service I’m part of. Imagine falling asleep every night worrying about the sudden death of your child, wondering if they would be awake in the morning… it’s inconceivable.

It has been such a privilege to work within the Young Adult Service and see it grow from strength to strength. If you are passionate about young adults, living with complex health issues, achieve their best life, please get in touch. Come for a visit and a coffee ☕️ 😊

The new term of Project ECHO Young Adults: Transition and Beyond started today with JoElversonSOH presenting in “Small beginnings starting a YA service”. It was wonderful to hear her experience and discuss the importance of networking and sustainability.

Please come along and join us at this open event for #carers . If you are caring for someone in the local area, pop in - you’ll be sure to be met by a friendly face and a listening ear.

This event was well received a couple of years ago. A fabulous opportunity to meet other carers and different organisations that support carers. Well worth a visit as well as popping into our hospice cafe for lunch, or light refreshments 😊

So encouraging to see cohort 5 reporting such positively. Nearly half way through the programme and the participants are noticing and embracing more confidence in self and towards change.
