Latest data from MBRRACE UK UKOSS @BPSUtweet showing worsening outcomes from covid-19 amongst pregnant women and their babies. This underpins new JCVI recommendation that pregnant women are considered an at risk group. Vaccination strongly protective against severe disease.

Such a great idea - so often people are known by (or prefer) names other than their given name. Though when he went into a care home, my husband's grandfather told staff (jokingly) that he preferred to be called "Sir"!

Today is National Day of Reflection, marking two years since the first lockdown. Last year, we planted spring bulb HALOs on Lime Tree Park, flowering each spring the HALOs gently remind us of those we have lost during the pandemic and create a tranquil space to sit and reflect.
