Black women are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than white women. During #BlackMaternalHealthWeek , we continue to advocate for respectful care for Black mothers and their children.

Those with an 'agenda' = women who want to listen to their doctors and not have medical decisions forced on them by partisan state supreme court justices--the way TX Justices Blacklock, Devine, and Bland (Jane Bland) ruled Kate Cox didn't qualify for a medical exception.

The reference to “buying a bus ticket” is intentional. It speaks to who they think gets abortions—poor women who make poor choices.

It’s ignorant and insulting.

Who’s ready to vote?

We forget how re-traumatizing this experience can be for the women telling their stories—of how they lost a wanted pregnancy and how leaders needlessly put their lives at risk.

In awe of their continued courage they display only in the hope of helping other women.
