While private healthcare is the only option for many of us, can we at least use some collective £ power to demand new trans health clinics have some form of accountability to ethics and to trans communities.

A poor start for this new UK clinic & together we can ask for more.

Watch this space for the sizeable distance Scotland needs to move in order to genuinely respect and uphold the rights of trans children in Scotland.

There is a long way to go, but I am excited to see this important step.

The UK committed to upholding UNCRC Child Rights in 1991. This gives the UK gov. a legal obligation to uphold child rights. However, this has not been brought into domestic law in the UK. This makes it harder to uphold child rights in practice.

UK government proposed ban on trans children socially transitioning at school is cruel and anti-science.

It will acutely harm trans children. It is not supported by any evidence, and is contradicted by a large body of research.
