This morning we received a huge donation of 20 palates of greenhouse grown, local tomatoes from a farmer via FeedingNYS. Along with each case of tomatoes, volunteers are adding a pack of chicken, rice, beans, farina and oatmeal to distribute to families via DoorDash Impact

Helping farmers & feeding kids is not a partisan issue. By my count, helping rural economies & getting folks farm fresh, healthy food IS essential & that’s what we’re doing in the NY budget right now. These Trump cuts are backwards & harmful. They must restart these programs.
