Next up, these two cuties were born on Friday - a little boy and a little girl. The’ve joined their cousins, born earlier in the week, in the maternity ward while they wait for the rest of their Aunties to give birth. #goats #pets

Today, the Hairdressing Salon at Hilton of Aldie is back open for business. These are the first ladies who rushed to get the first appointments. Sorry diary now fully booked! 😂 #sheep

We are very proud of our Curlew’s, and monitor them closely to check they are not disturbed and can bring up their young safely. Last year we captured this bird on camera from laying her eggs through to hatching her 4 chicks. #WorldCurlewDay

From the confidence of opening our farm to the GP we have now taken it a step further and as part of out CS agreement offer Educational Access, so far this year we have had 13 school visits, with more to follow. This has been a great addition to our farm income and rewarding too!

Some new borns enjoying the sun this morning. We run 700 Romney ewes and 385 ewe lambs at present. They are bred purely as a commercial flock with our meat going to Scotbeef Ltd who supply Aldi Stores UK and M&S. #LOFS22

On OpenFarmSunday the sheep become stars. We book the local shearing contractor for the day. We need to remove their wool every year any way, so timing it with LOFS allows us to share it with visitors. A local farmer comes along to do commentary so we can focus on the shearing.

We particularly love these two girls, who we are keeping for our own herd. #pygmygoats
