Always curious how sports talk uses past tense for things that haven't happened yet.
The Dodgers HAVE NOT >spent< a billions dollars on two players.
They MIGHT >spend< that over the course of 20 YEARS (or might not) i.e. deferred payments and opt outs.
So... what do you mean?
