The 59th Florence Nightingale Commemoration service took place yday Westminster Abbey & was a truly breathtaking experience. A time of reflection & of celebration, of the vast contribution the nursing & midwifery professions make each & every day across such an array of settings
Thank you to Ruth May ๐, Sue Tranka ๐ RN,FQNI and reps for CNO Scotland & CNO Northern Ireland who attended the service yesterday.
They carried the Covid-19 Pandemic Roll of Honour, dedicated to all nurses, midwives, nursing associates & HCSWs who provided care during the pandemic.๐
It was very special to see ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ช ๐ be the Lamp Carrier at the Florence Nightingale Foundation Commemoration Service yesterday.
Emily was nominated from hundreds of Florence Nightingale Scholars and is passionate about elevating the visibility of #SocialCare nurses.
