Today, Deanne Criswell is in OK to survey the damage incurred from the tornados on 4/27.
She was greeted by Governor Kevin Stitt, Sen. James Lankford, Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) State Director Annie Mack Vest & FEMA R6 Deputy Regional Admin. Traci Brasher for an operational briefing on the impacts of the event.
Today, Deanne Criswell is in Marietta, Oklahoma to meet with Governor Kevin Stitt and local officials to survey the damage from the devastating tornados. The Biden-Harris Administration and @FEMA stand ready to support as needed and help the community recover.
Update: Deanne Criswell will travel to Oklahoma tomorrow to meet with local officials and assess the impacts from the devastating tornadoes. @FEMA personnel are on the ground and are working to determine unmet needs.
This morning, I connected with Oklahoma's Governor Kevin Stitt to discuss last night's tornadoes and the impacts on the community. FEMA Region 6 has been coordinating and continues to interact with Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) and FEMA is ready to support, if necessary.
Today I spoke to Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, about last night's tornados and severe weather. Our FEMA Region 7 team has been engaged with the state and IowaHSEMD. @FEMA stands ready to support, as needed.
Today I spoke with Ponca Tribe of NE Chairwoman Schmidt about last night's tornados and the impact on Tribal citizens & Service Areas. FEMA Region 7 will continue supporting the Ponca Tribe as their leadership and emergency managers prepare for a second round of severe weather.
I just spoke to Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen, FEMA has been and will continue to be in constant contact with their teams. We will remain vigilant as the storm threat continues. FEMA stands ready to support, as needed. FEMA Region 7 Nebraska Emergency Management Agency
