Firefighters across the world will be paying close attention to the final Grenfell Inquiry report in September. The fire was a crime committed by politicians and businesses. This must never be allowed to happen again. It is our duty to amplify the community's call for justice.

I visited the fire scene with Matt Wrack today & spoke to the crews, our members, about the conditions they faced on the night. Fire Brigades Union members were remarkable once again. But we should all be outraged an incident of this type has been allowed to happen yet again

Today FBU officials visited Spectrum House, along with Angela Rayner, and spoke to firefighters. The dedication and professionalism of firefighters undoubtedly saved lives. We will continue to demand action and justice on the building safety crisis.

The final report of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry has now been published. On this day, we remember the 72 lives lost. This report demonstrates beyond doubt that an agenda of deregulation cost lives. We share the grief and anger of the bereaved, survivors and residents.
