Donโ€™t forget the invisible string that also occurred eight years ago at the Spanish GP in Barcelona.

Want to spotlight Logan Sargeant for his Miami drive. He was pretty close to the pace of Alex Albon.

Sprint race
Albon - 1:32.908
Sargeant - 1:32.923 (+0.015s)

Main race (before Sargeant DNFed)
Albon - 1:33.982
Sargeant - 1:34.053 (+0.071s)

A good sign.

Another unforgettable moment from Max Verstappenโ€™s first ever race win was marshalls congratulating him by bowing down to him as he drove by.

What a gesture.

8 years ago today, Max Verstappen became the youngest driver to win a race at the age of 18.

One of my favorite parts is how Seb Vettel & Fernando Alonso were among the first to congratulate Max.

Max giving Helmut a handshake before being pulled in for a hug is also great.

Itโ€™s been 50 races since the regulations changed in 2022.

Red Bull - 42 wins (84% win rate)

For comparison, after the first 50 races of the V6 turbo hybrid regs change:

Mercedes - 43 wins (86% win rate)

Coming off his first F1 win, Lando Norris can also make it 3 podiums in a row at Imola:

2021 -๐Ÿฅ‰
2022 -๐Ÿฅ‰

That 2022 drive was very impressive as it was the only podium for a non-Red Bull, Ferrari & Mercedes driver that entire season.

Michael Schumacher takes pole at the 2003 San Marino GP using the Ferrari F2002 - the previous year's car - with a mesmerizing lap.

Schumacher then took a very emotional victory the next day after his mother passed away just hours before the race. โค๏ธ

Ayrton Senna is the only driver in F1 history to get 8 straight poles.

Alain Prost is the only driver in F1 history to start a season with 7 straight poles.

Max Verstappen can join those legends with a pole in Imola. Heโ€™s at 7 straight poles & 6 straight poles to start 2024.

Imola 2021 was also one of Charles Leclerc's most underrated races of his career. Through 31 laps, Charles was:

- 27s ahead of P4
- 28s ahead of a Red Bull
- Over 30s ahead of his teammate

One of his finest drives.

Even without seeing the start, you can tell the exact moment Sergio Perez almost collects Max Verstappen at the start of the Miami GP. That reaction was all of us, too.

And who can forget the Imola race start in 2021 when Max Verstappen took the lead from Lewis Hamilton.

Great launch from Max to go from 3rd to 1st and a great launching point for this epic & intense title fight between these two greats.
