Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, drivers from 3 different teams are 1-2-3 in the championship & separated by under 100 points after 16 races. First time that's been the case in F1 through 16 races since 2012. Soak it all in, we're having an extraordinary season.

Lando Norris has outscored Max Verstappen by an avg of 5.5 points per race weekend since Hungary. At that rate, he would lose the drivers' title by only 18 points. With McLaren & Red Bull's current form, the WDC is definitely in reach. Just need to maximize the next 8 races.

For those asking, Charles Leclercโ€™s average finishing position without ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น and ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง would be 3.08, which would have put him right behind Max Verstappen.

Exactly three years ago today, Max Verstappen beat out two Mercedes to take victory at his home race as Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort for the first time since 1985. Much more enjoyable times for Max & Red Bull back then.

In addition to having the largest quali pace advantage in 2024, Valtteri Bottas is also 22-2 H2H vs. Guanyu Zhou over their last 24 qualis both participated in dating back to 2023 (๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ 2024 excluded). Rooting for Bottas to be on the 2025 grid. Very underrated year.

Mark Webber & Eddie Jordan on Max Verstappen & Red Bull's situation on Formula For Success. MW: "Max has carried that team for a while now this season. We've seen some very special drives from Max." EJ: "He's the best driver in F1, beyond any doubt in my opinion, at this moment."

Aston Martin now have Adrian Newey and Honda on its side. You really have to admire Aston going all-in. And Newey might as well be synonymous with championships. His cars have won multiple drivers' titles at each of his last three teams. That's great news for Fernando Alonso ๐Ÿ‘€

Really want people to appreciate how good Formula 1 is right now. For the first time in Formula 1 history, we have FOUR different constructors with at least 3 wins AND 2 poles in a season. 2024 is a historic season. ๐Ÿคฏ

Another incredible thing about Formula 1 right now is how anti-domination it is. No driver or team has gone on a 3-race win streak yet. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Longest win streak Red Bull (Verstappen): 2 Mercedes: 2 McLaren: 1 Ferrari: 1 Truly never know who is going to win on any given weekend.

Thank you for 7000. Only created this account a year ago in September 2023 so the overwhelming support for all the stats - no matter how random, obscure, or niche - means a lot. Should also have something cool to share later today!
