I would bet that the 16,384 byte limitation for the header + root directory in the github.com/protomaps/PMTi… spec comes from my random picking of that value for the chunk size of /vsicurl/ 15 years ago 😄. I should ask for a dice labelled with power of 2's as birthday present

Can't manage to create an account to report a bug to Fedora. If anyone in this capacity listens, it is simple: the fedora:rawhide Docker image is broken. 'docker run --rm -it fedora:rawhide dnf update' fails with 'Config error: Parsing file '/etc/dnf/dnf.conf' failed'.

I'll challenge the next person who dares to say that gdal org lacks documentation to do an extensive review of github.com/OSGeo/gdal/pul… . Thanks again to Dan Baston for this huge effort on improving the way all the options (literally thousands) available are presented

#GDAL 3.7.0 is released: lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/gdal… . It includes JSON output for ogrinfo, TileDB vector support, reading of FileGeodatabase raster datasets, @sozip (Seek optimized ZIP) read/write support and many other enhancements and fixes.
