Mapping out your whole KS3 art curriculum in advance,and viewing it as a series of interconnected schemes,lessons,skills,knowledge etc is crucial.The most important thing art depts can do is share,communicate and collaborate.

Please can every school have an artist in residence and an art therapist, it would make all the difference to our children and young people’s sense of identity, well-being and belonging ❤️
