Bai Bibyaon, together with the other Lumad leaders, led the resistance of their communities against the Alcantara and Sons logging company, which threatened the Lumad ancestral lands within the Pantaron Mountain Range.

She stood as a warrior who united, empowered, and rallied with the community against the company, employing "Pangayaw," a traditional warfare method of the Lumad, to defend their ancestral lands. Bai Bibyaon's life and struggle are testaments to the Lumad revolution.

She inpires other communities to persist for their rights to self-determination and ancestral lands, and in pursuit of national liberation. May future generations continue to forward Bai Bibyaon’s admirable legacy. Long live the life and struggle of Bai Bibyaon Ligkayan Bigkay!
