.Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan launched his Rough Sleeping Plan of Action today with partners in Waterloo, announcing £17m to refurbish 500 empty homes & open a new Ending Homelessness Hub alongside a rough sleeping prevention phoneline & more community support workers.

.Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s new Plan of Action on rough sleeping will transform services across London by focusing on prevention and ending the requirement for Londoners to be seen bedded down on the streets before they can access support, ensuring help is available early on.

You shouldn’t have to sleep rough to get help. That’s why we’re changing the rules, putting prevention first - and working closely with our partners in Government, London Councils and the homelessness sector to end rough sleeping for good.

Today City Hall launched our new Rough Sleeping Plan of Action, bringing together partners across the city with new funding from Government to help stop the cycle of street homelessness. No one should have to sleep rough in London.
