The victims' testimonies confirm Volker Türk sobering report depicting unprecedented & yet intensifying repression in Belarus against all segments of society.

Today 4⃣1⃣ OSCE States, at the initiative of the Nordic-Baltic states, invoked the #ViennaMechanism , calling for an end to arbitrary arrests and political repression in Russia. The international community is watching.

At the #HRC55 side event on information integrity organized by 🇱🇻, 🇱🇹 and 🇺🇦, Amb. Z. Czech referred to 🇷🇺 disinformation campaigns that target democratic institutions and processes all around the world. He also stressed the need to support professional independent journalism.

Had a constructive meeting with Russian opposition representatives & activists in Tallinn 🇪🇪.
Discussed the problems Russian opposition members face & I underlined the necessity to help #Ukraine .
