Got a chance to edit the whole sequence of the eclipse… thin cloud made it tricky but was still fun. Need to do this again sooner than later.

Controlled burn when I went to go look for American woodcocks at a nature preserve… and the woodcocks were still doing their spiral mating flight.

Grant submitted last night and immediately turned the computer to much more fun stuff. M51 in poor seeing conditions. 3 hours of 3 minute exposures, kept best 90% and stacked them. The AM5 mount and ASIAIR makes this SO much easier.

Finally back up and running with a new mount for the telescope. Started off with 12P/Pons-Brooks at 200mm f/2.8. Low in the western sky and struggled with light pollution.
