You’ve probably heard by now that FDA has granted full approval to the Pfizer #vaccine. To be clear: the existing emergency use authorization required A LOT of safety testing! But if you still had reservations and were waiting for full approval to get your shot, now is the time.

In many parts of the country, kids have already gone back to school, and in others they will soon. If you’re age 12 or over and you’re in school or going back soon, you’re eligible to get the Pfizer vaccine! It’s free, it’s safe, and it dramatically reduces the dangers of COVID.

Yesterday,CDC officially recommended the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. This follows FDA’s recent authorization of the same vaccine for kids. 28 million more children are now eligible to get vaccinated. This is a major milestone in the fight against #COVID19

Yes, rapid antigen tests detect Omicron. Most mutations on Omicron are on Spike. Rapid antigen tests detect Nucleocapsid protein - a different part of the virus then what we really care about or what is significantly altered in Omicron.
