Taking part in Clap for Carers was very moving this evening. All carers and shop workers especially that are putting themselves at risk are amazing. Also everyone behind the scenes working to support us through this. There’s so much to be proud of in this country right now 🙏 ❤️

This is a truly inspiring story of vision and purpose, Capt Tom Moore smashing his £1k fundraising target with help of the public, breaking Just Giving and setting records with £16m raised to support the NHS bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

Can we get through this? Of course we can. Imagine being born in 1900. Age 18: WWI starts, lasts 4 years, 22m die Still 18: Spanish Flu epidemic kills 50m over 2 yrs 29: Great Depression; economic collapse over 4 yrs 39: WWII starts, lasts 6 yrs, 75m die

This does not compare to the 2008 crisis. During the first 6 months of 2008, banks repossessed 527,000 homes. In the first half of 2020, they repossessed 37,917. 2008 was an existential crisis. This is a health care crisis with economic consequences. Attom Data Solutions/MFS

Very much enjoyed today’s brilliant webinar with Carl Richards hosted by @philbray73. “We are guiding clients through a changing landscape, not defenders of an outdated map”

If you really want to crush it, you need to rest. But sometimes, that’s easier said than done. Up at 5 in the morning? Tried it. Daily workouts? Yep. Paleo, bulletproof, gluten-free, cold showers? Check.

We need to redefine "hard work" to include "hard thinking." The person who outsmarts you is out working you. The person who finds shortcuts is out working you. The person with a better strategy is out working you. Usually, the hardest work is thinking of a better way to do it.

You don’t need to catch every break if you’re willing to keep trying. Every winner has an archive of many losses, but each attempt creates the chance for a victory. You need to be patient, but not passive. Active patience.
