Got to spend some time in one of my favorite classrooms today. The insight and support I saw these 6th graders display was so heart-warming. Our kids are capable of so much when they have adults guiding them and believing in them. ❤️

Spent the last three days with my AVID Family. I haven't been at a face to face #AVIDStaffDev training since my first year in 2018. It was what I needed. The care that AVID shows us is off the charts. They ARE the educational leaders and advocates EVERY teacher needs. ❤️

First round of AVID interviews for our incoming 6th graders today. We will need to do some work on the interview skills next year. 😂

Great Day 1 at AVID Baltimore Summer Institute. My teammate for the week and I snuck off to the National Aquarium this afternoon. It was incredible. Grateful as always for the opportunity to travel and connect with educators from across the country. #AVID4Possibility

As a teacher, this is AVID for me. I am grateful to be on the AVID Staff Developers team and sharing my passion with other educators. Every year, I come back to school ready for another year of empowering students and teachers.

The last two days at #GLS23 have been amazing. I can't wait to take what I learned back to school to help lead my students in a way that empowers them to become the next generation of leaders.
