I was deeply troubled to hear of the death of Alexei Navalny, who gave voice to the hopes and dreams of the Russian people. His death will not extinguish their desire for freedom, and one day the tyranny that oppresses them will end. May Navalny rest in peace.

My takeaway from visiting our Ukrainian friends is clear: It is still in our core interests to help Ukraine win and end this war.
