Women are being *killed* walking through the parks of London and the Government thought the answer was to install a bit more street lighting Say her name #SabinaNessa and ask yourself where is the same outcry that there was for Sarah Everard? bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

Her name is Sabina Ness. She was killed by a stranger on the street. Sabina deserves justice and vigils and the same outrage we all felt when #SarahEverard disappeared. Her story is what we’re all terrified of when we walk home at night. (1/3) bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

Meaningful action means resources. Funding for feminist organisations, life-saving services, public services that women rely on, and education to change the fundamental belief systems that VAWG is ok and inevitable.

Seen on The Times and Sunday Times: NEF+ 2020 alumni Joel Gujral (MYNDUP) and Natasha Eeles (BOLD VOICES) recently shared their journeys as young founders, with a special NEF+ mention! Both built their ventures amidst 2020 (+ a fully virtual NEF+ programme) but have hit great milestones 👇

So, #IWD2022 is coming up and here’s 3 things I would say to companies/corps/media booking: 1️⃣💰Pay them generously for their prep, time *and* experience. Asking someone to speak on struggle/trauma for £100 is an insult & harmful to survivors as they end up losing out to speak.

After years of messaging communicating to women & femmes that they "keep themselves" safe, it's so powerful to see a campaign targeted at men that encourages bystander intervention and shows how it's done. There are small opportunities every day to change culture. 👏🏼 #HaveAWord
