6 months deployed as GLC @CommanderUKMCMF and I’m finally home. I will sorely miss HMS Middleton, HMS Chiddingfold, HMS Bangor, RFA Cardigan Bay and the team at FSU, but I am relieved to be back (despite the British weather 🌧️). Now…what to do with so much post deployment leave?!

Very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to travel to the Arctic and learn about the region and it's people. I never thought I'd get the opportunity to travel to Svalbard, it's a special place that gives you a sense of how vulnerable our planet is to climate change.

My year at the Royal College of Defence Studies is over and it's been an amazing experience. Now it's time to head back to BAE Systems Maritime Submarines where I started my career on the Grad Scheme! Looking forward to joining an enterprise delivering a truly national endeavour.
