The attack on Manchester’s Jewish community is an attack on all who believe in British freedom of religion or belief. We mourn those murdered; pray for healing of the wounded; and protection for those targeted by hate and violence. No one attending a British synagogue, temple,

The Novus Ordo celebrated as orientem with incense may be an admirable thing, but it is NOT the same liturgy as the TLM, many of whose most precious features are missing from the new Missal. I would rather attend the most spartan of Tridentine Low Masses than any Novus Ordo

A legal & art-historical overview of the Elgin Marbles. One of the great 'shall we debate this' issues, and a favourite of fabian-adjacents who seek their return – as with Chagos. There is no legal doubt; they're ours. In Reiners Project: reiners.org.uk/a-legal-certai…

"1198, Pope Innocent III issued a decree that deaf people should be able to get married by making their vows in sign language." Lovely tale, & reminder these were NOT "Dark Ages", but time of innovation & care like any other: #Unlearn theconversation.com/the-deaf-black…

Very sad to learn of the death of Len Deighton, who was one of the two greatest spy thriller writers of all time and in some regards was Le Carre’s superior. Anyone who has not read Deighton should try Funeral in Berlin, Bomber or SSGB. Most of all they should seek out Berlin

Now there is a move to decriminalise abortion, effectively allowing it up to birth. Google it. It's not an easy read. It is the physical destruction of a baby. This horror passed the Commons after 46 minutes of debate. The Lords must stop it. It is a line the UK must not cross.

The logic of abortion: if at 3 months, why not at 9? If a matter of choice, why should it ever be criminal? Watch this: it's what will happen with assisted suicide.
