Great paper from Liam Yapp in The Bone & Joint Journal - lifetime risk of revision for #knee arthroplasty from a registry with linked mortality data. Though lifetime risk of revision in pts <50 is 1/3, pts >60 more likely to die than be revised at all time points. online.boneandjoint.org.uk/doi/full/10.13…

Congratulations on our latest site to open Edinburgh Orthopaedics for #RACERKnee Thank you for persistence to overcome hurdles and welcome to the study! Site PI is Chloe EH Scott with notable help also from Nick Clement!

So excited to be part of AAOS this year! And especially excited to be talking about when trauma & arthroplasty collide. Massively thankful to Anna Cohen-Rosenblum , Elizabeth Gausden and Deborah Eastwood for the invitations to speak - you are all #ortholegends! #periprosthetic #AAOS2023

Deborah Eastwood Thank you for highlighting this Deborah. This was our first faculty announcement. Attached is our full confirmed faculty to date, which we hope reflects the diversity of speakers we have each year at the trauma symposium as you know yourself.

Thanks for a really excellent #AAOS2023. Highlights were catching up with totally awesome friends, meeting Naan Derthaal, DO, FAAOS IRL, the Pride Ortho gang, disasterplasty & traumaplasty battling 🥊 So grateful to have been invited! But can’t wait to get home ✈️
