Year 2 enjoyed an exciting trip to the fantastic Florence Nightingale museum. The children learnt about Florence's childhood, how she became a nurse & worked during the Crimean war. They viewed the lamp she carried during the war – earning her nick name – The Lady With The Lamp

Year 5 visited the @RoyalAirForceMuseum They attended a STEM workshop, designed to allow children to explore areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The children were able to participate in Science experiments and explore the museum.

The Stand Against Violence team visited School & spoke to Year 6. This organisation tackles violence from multiple perspectives, including the impact on perpetrators, the consequences of violence & challenges young people face. #StandAgainstViolence

Edgware Primary School have been working with a company called #GROW. GROW have run workshops with the children creating plant boxes, and led a series of sessions where children planted a range of different plants and herbs. #Gardening #Sustainability

"Perform" visited Edgware primary School to hold a drama workshop for Nursery, Reception, Y1 & Y2. The children had a wonderful time exploring the theme of Fairy tales and Fables. #perform #drama

Year 6 tried their hand at archery, and many other outdoor activities. #Archery #OutdoorAdventures

Y6 took part in a weeks #bikeability course. The objective being to teach bike riding confidence. 1st days training was in the playground & enabled Y6 to demonstrate their bike handling skills. Instructors then took Y6 onto the roads to teach them how to safely navigate traffic.

Edgware Primary had an exciting learning together Art day, focussing on Building Bridges. Children & parents discussed what encourages a sense of respect & unity with others. They then created a bridge to express ideas and values around the theme of inclusion. #Inclusion #art

Nursery finished off their Monster topic with a Monster Party, the children looked fantastic in their costumes and enjoyed dancing to monster music and eating monster munch!

Nursery have been looking at the natural environment & how it changes throughout the seasons, as plants grow, flower and decay. During spring we planted strawberries & broad beans, the children have enjoyed seeing them ripen. #HealthyEating #Nursery
