What a privilege to attend Eloise Evans at Westminster Abbey and reaffirm what a ‘jewel in the crown’ the NHS is.
Great twitter account promoting health highlights in Cumbria, H&W advice and insight into primary care innovation. They’re aiming for 100 followers, sure we can get them over the line! 😀👍🏻Ed Tallis North East and North Cumbria NHS North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust
Poisoned, unlawfully imprisoned, ill-treated and denied adequate medical assistance; opposition activist Aleksei #Navalny is punished just because of his peaceful activism against corruption in Russia. Urge President Putin President of Russia to #FreeNavalny bit.ly/39VoHZf
Across the region we have made a commitment to reduce the prevalence of smoking from 13% to 5% by 2030 ...it is just one of the many goals set out in a new plan from the region's NHS🚭💙 Fresh - Making Smoking History #LongerHealthierLives
Just had an amazing tour around Growing Well who support people with mental health issues. What an excellent place doing amazing things! Many thanks
Delighted to be at the very vibrant planning day for all stakeholders with our ( soon to be) 6 month old Westmorland and Furness Council

I raised that there are over 2,000 autistic people or people with learning disabilities detained in inappropriate in-patient units despite the Government promising to close them all down over TEN years ago. Wes Streeting is right, Ministers have shown breathtaking complacency.
Delighted to be at the End of Life Care Conference in North Cumbria and excited to be able to listen to Kathryn Mannix next😁. So looking forward to supporting all of these amazing people to improve EOL services.
Just listened again to Nigel Owens MBE on Desert Island Discs, what a genuine, all round great bloke. Definitely recommend listening to it! Thanks Nigel.
Went to see National Theatre Live production of ‘Nye’ last night about the life of Aneurin Bevan, who created Britain’s NHS in 1948. Anyone working for the NHS should watch this, very very moving and reaffirming on why the NHS is such a wonderful organisation, despite its current challenges.
