Yet again weβve forgotten to take a photo π€¦ββοΈ but we had a fantastic day on our Wessex Neurological Centre nurse in charge development day today. Lots of shared experience and knowledge, new strategies to try out and a lot of keen beans chomping at the bit to take charge!

What did we get up to today Wessex Neurological Centre? 1:2 with BEVERLY ANN HARRIS making plans, heard all our IENs passed their Nursing and Midwifery Council OSCE, fitted some PerSo hoods UHS Infection Prevention Team π, caught up with some students from WeUoSNurses and @SolentNursing, and looked at many, many emails π π₯³ π₯
We had a really engaging HCSW development day today Wessex Neurological Centre . We talked hygiene needs, de-escalation, working 1:1 with our patients, completing a GCS and manual BP measuring. Thanks to our volunteers for talking about VCs and positioning in strokeπ
Busy day yesterday Wessex Neurological Centre, fab morning with our nursing leads making plans for international nurses day, heard about the virtual handovers project and went back to diabasics with Mayank Patel and Paula Johnston. Then career discussions, a meds round and clinical supervision π
