A really helpful series that aims to show the impact of every interaction we have with babies and families on our neonatal units. Join the NW team to start thinking about what you could change in your practice.

After delivering her daughter at 32 weeks & spending time on our Neonatal unit, Kate wanted to raise money to help other parents going through similar situations. Kate ran the Manchester 10km after 16 weeks of giving birth & raised over £1000 for our WWLNeonatal🥰 Thank you💜

Many of our volunteers start off as students on placement with their university, learning more and more about how to support women, leading to them becoming volunteers with us. Oonagh has stayed with us since she finished her placement. #ThankYou #Volunteering #Volunteers

Psychological safety: how to get members of our teams to actually speak up. It's a common leadership misconception that just by encouraging team members to voice opinions we create a culture of openness. We need to address the issues (individual & systemic) that prevent people

Helen Bevan Speaking up is important but I'm increasingly thinking that the focus needs to be on teaching our leaders and managers to listen up, take action and give feedback. Without this those who speak up will quickly stop bothering.

breastfeeding has fallen in Govt priorities, mothers have been abandoned, left to struggle on their own. The lucky ones find a tribe of support, & go on to meet their 🤱🏾goals. There is an out pouring of anger on it way as the truth is told Australian Department of Health and Aged Care

In case you were thinking of voting Conservative or Reform. This is just the 'start price' for a visit to A&E in Guernsey, where they use the 'American model' of healthcare' that both Tories and Farage are proposing. More here: gov.gg/EDCHARGES
