Two amazing geoscientists whom I greatly admire and have learnt so much from over the years. We had a blast recording this episode as you'll see! @DrWendyRocks and Beth Bartel for the latest of VolcaKnowledge Podcast 🌋🎙 !

Okay I’m finally finding a moment to listen to this and I admittedly was nervous—the whole hearing ourselves talk thing—but I just legit squealed because it’s so fun to hear Dr Samuel Mitchell and @DrWendyRocks and I can’t help but love being a part of it.

Want to learn more about volcanologists, volcanoes, or related stuff like ***hazards science communication*** (nudge, nudge)? Two seasons of VolcaKnowledge complete! Check it out! Big congrats to Dr Samuel Mitchell for making this happen & being a fantastic host.

A group of us have been working to adapt our 2021 Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences (NHESS) paper (doi.org/10.5194/nhess-…) into an open-access eLearning course. The initial version (feedback welcome!) is now live... open.edu/openlearncreat… It aims to help natural hazard scientists better contribute to DRR.

And if you missed it live you can now watch it at x2 speed while you do your dishes! Feedback and thoughts are very much welcome—and encouraged. How can we improve use of scientific information for risk reduction? Big thanks to SZ4D Subduction Zones 4 Grad-Students and Graduates youtube.com/watch?v=T7SkEt…
