At this week's full council I was appointed to the cabinet. I vowed to continue improving the living conditions for our residents and stressed the importance of making politics accessible for all residents across the borough.

Spent the afternoon at the Christchurch School Community Garden yesterday. The amazing volunteers there have created a green sanctuary in our ward.

Rose Garden Action Day! Please join us for a community action day on Saturday 1st March, 10-1.30pm, planting new hedgerows in the East Greenwich Rose Garden (Off Tunnel Avenue).

A bright sunny morning today for our planting session in the Rose Garden. We got 500 new shrubs in to improve this green haven in our ward. Thank you to Fiona, Patrick and others from the Biodiversity Working Group for making this happen

Our borough has the biggest river frontage in London. The Thames Path is an asset both for travel and as a place we all enjoy and use. I am leading a review into the Thames Path and would welcome residents to take part in this survey to help inform the project ~ Maisie
