Up next is Kris Shields, Eagleton Center on the American Governor Historian, who tells us that Wes Moore is the third Black man to be elected to governor in U.S. history. Also, Moore will be the only Black governor in the U.S. in 2023.

Challenges facing the polling industry:
- Response rates are in the low-single digits
- Pre-election polls are trying to figure out who is going to turn out to vote, which is a difficult task
- Polling is expensive
This results in:
- Decrease in credible polls
- Influx in partisan and internal campaign polling
-Influx in 'junk' polling
- Drought in polling in battleground states or districts
