Over the past few weeks, EIP Director Elizabeth Matto and Dr. Katherine McCabe led teaching workshops for @rutgersu instructors on talking across difference in the classroom.

The workshops were made possible by the Rutgers University–New Brunswick IDEA Innovation Grant Program and Rutgers University Libraries .

The “Freedom to Read Act” proposes that school boards across New Jersey be required to adopt policies governing material and its removal from school libraries.

The Eagleton Science and Politics Program hosted Bridge Builders: Empowering Scientists to Inform State Policy Through the Committee Hearing Process. The event featured an interactive session provided practical guidance on effective strategies to share their expertise with state-level policymakers.
