I think A Moveable Feast is a spiteful book. He bullies everybody. Ford wasn't at all the way Hemingway described him. And back then Hemingway wasn't catty. He always seemed to me as if he were enjoying himself terribly.

When I'm not talking about Hemingway (or cats), I'm most likely talking about this project. Not least because we uncovered some really fun and unexpected interdisciplinary connections along the way! Mycology and arts, biomemesis and the humanities, the list goes on. Mind? Blown.

And I quoted Ernest Hemingway’s famous last line from The Sun Also Rises “isn’t it pretty to think so” symbolising the futility of holding onto fantasies of what might’ve been & they still think it’s this super romantic song and-NO ERNEST HEMINGWAY ISN’T A SESAME STREET CHARACTER

Every PhD person, ever: "I rewrote my thesis, every page of it, thirty-nine times before I was satisfied." Reader, we are still not satisfied. 💀

Kamala Harris didn't lose, America did. As a nation, we collectively failed her—and in doing so we failed girls and women, the LGBTQ community, people of color, Muslims, Jewish people, immigrants, the sick, the poor, the elderly, the people of Ukraine, and Gaza, and the planet.
