One year ago today, #Cumbria LRF declared a major incident; most last 2 days, rarely 2 wks, this one’s lasted 52 wks... They are draining, however I’m proud that British Red Cross 🧡 Emergency Response #volunteers have been able to demonstrate the #PowerofKindness throughout #COVID19

18 British Red Cross 🧡 ER North volunteers are continuing to hand out water to North West Ambulance Service Service crews at 10 A&Es in the red weather warning area. By the end of the #heatwave on Tuesday night, Red Cross North will have distributed 3600 bottles or 1.8 tonnes !
