We talked to residents & business owners in our rural parishes today with Essex Police Rural Engagement Team and Essex Police Special Constabulary.
Officers conducted Speed 100 checks where you've told us there are speeding issues. They issued fixed penalty notices for excess speed & seized 2 vehicles for no insurance.
Dogs walked off-lead may attack livestock, such as sheep, cows, pigs & hens.
Even if your dog doesn’t attack, it can cause stress to other animals.
So do keep them on a lead near livestock.

If you were travelling around parts of Uttlesford this morning you may of seen our team performing speed checks near the schools in Leaden Roding and Hatfield Heath or supporting the dedicated volunteers in Little Hallingbury.
All just a small part of todays #VisionZeroDay
A big part of our role is engagement, getting out there and talking to people.
We find bikes very useful because they allow us to access places we can’t get police cars to, like country parks, fields & sea walls.
