PC Little & PC Tillyer stopped this trailer near Bicester. Checks confirmed that it was in order but not registered.

They also attended an attempted burglary near Finchampstead. The offenders left the van, setting fire to it. It had been stolen. An investigation has commenced.

PC Uren, Special Constable Wilby, & Special Constable McManus patrolled the Cherwell area as well as West & South Oxfordshire.

Special Constables volunteer their time to assist us & have the same powers as a Police Constable. Their help in tackling Rural crime is appreciated.

☎️ On 22nd April we received a call from Surrey Police that a stolen vehicle was tracking in Wexham.

🚓 We attended immediately and completed intel enquiries identifying a suspect.

☑️ 2 people were arrested and stolen; trailer, quad, Polaris Ranger and UTV were recovered.

PC Uren located this stolen quad bike near Thatcham within a few hours of it being reported by the victim.

The quad had been stolen overnight and had been covered by offenders trying to conceal it.

An investigation has commenced 🔎

PC’s Dollery, Bowers & special constable Wilby stopped this Vauxhall for a document check in Chinnor this evening. Checks showed the driver was disqual ⛔️

The male was interviewed at the roadside and reported to court 👩‍⚖️ The vehicle has been seized 👮‍♂️ TVP Specials

On the 25th March 2024 three vehicles were seized from Blewbury, Didcot after becoming bogged down in fields.

The vehicles had caused significant criminal damage to cropped fields.

The disposal of these vehicles shows our commitment to tackling crime in our rural communities.

SC McManus & S/Sgt Hill are out on patrol today; We have visited three touring caravan sites and have spoken to owners about the importance of registering with @CrisDatabase.

This vehicle has been recovered in Wheatley as the driver had a revoked licence and no insurance. Two males were also searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act 👮‍♂️

Tonight patrols were conducted in the Dursley/Stroud areas where we have recently had reports of poaching .

PC Boyden & PC Bowers have reported the driver of this vehicle for no insurance near Thame.

PC Uren & PC Smith reported a separate driver for no insurance near Thame earlier in the evening.

The team have patrolled South Oxfordshire, West Berkshire, and surrounding areas.

PC’s Dollery & Kime attended a report of youths trespassing inside the #Chinnor railway again this evening. This is the second report this week, last night damage was caused to a train. This issue is being investigated and will result in positive action being taken👮‍♂️

This caravan was stop checked at Thornhill Park & Ride at midnight tonight to ensure all was in order. The owner purchased it online & didn’t complete any checks on its history, it was all in order 👮‍♂️

The owner had been advised to register with CRiSDatabase

On Tuesday I gave an input to some Colombian law enforcement about #RuralCrime . They had real interest around stolen plant/farm machinery and how this equipment has a worldwide market. Also the opportunities this offers for law enforcement and tackling crime

PC Bowers searched a male under S23 Misuse of Drugs Act near Watlington this evening👮‍♂️

The male was dealt with for possession of class B ✅
