Prof. Ana Belen Jorge Sobrido from QMUL School of Engineering and Materials Science gave an excellent lecture on electrospun flow battery electrodes and the use of sustainable precursors into the production of these electrode materials. Yesterday I joined the ECCM GroenvermogenNL summer school in Electrochemistry! I gave a lecture on flow batteries and asked the students to prepare research proposals and defend them. They did a wonderful job and we funded (with chocolate!) a winner, but they were all exciting!

Very excited and thankful to have been awarded a Vidi grant by NWO Nieuws ! tue.nl/en/news-and-ev… We will dig deep into fuel cell MEA designs and look at alternative materials. Thanks to my research group (Electrochemical Materials and Systems Laboratory), TU Eindhoven, collaborators, mentors and my family
