Our first iftar meal was absolutely wonderful! It was lovely to see so many students come together in the evening for a family style meal. Many of our young people don’t have families to share Ramadan with so we’d thought we’d do something about that! Shabnam Sabir BEM !

We’re looking forward to our Ramadan Iftar with our staff and students, whether they fast or not. It’s important to provide all learners with the opportunity to learn about different faiths and traditions whilst enjoying a yummy meal!

To celebrate the end of term we took all of our staff and students for a fun filled chilled day Hill End Centre. Students and staff took part in various activities to relax, enjoy and celebrate their remarkable achievements and hard work this term. Everyone of them makes us proud!

For many of our students half term is not a welcome break but a long gap of isolation and loneliness. So we’ve opened our doors to let some of them pop in to say hi and even help us on occasion. It’s important our young people know we’re always here for them.
